
CBCA’s 25th annual Business for the Arts Awards luncheon was Tuesday, March 6, 2012 at the Donald Seawell Ballroom, Denver Performing Arts Complex. Over 625 business, cultural and civic leaders attended this arts-infused celebration.
2012 Business for the Arts Awards include:
Impact Winner
Aspen Skiing Company for partnering contemporary art with skiing, both on and off the slopes
John Madden, Jr. Leadership Award Winner
Frederic C. Hamilton for his philanthropy, leadership, vision and entrepreneurship on behalf of the Denver Art Museum
Philanthropy Winner
The Westin Denver Downtown for their arts and cultural sponsorships of nonprofits that perform, produce or exhibit in Denver
Workspace Winner
Battery621 for the transformation of a former warehouse into a shared creative space and events venue

VISIT DENVER
PrintFolio is a limited edition suite of four original fine art prints by well-known Denver artists. This project aims to highlight Denver’s vibrant visual arts scene and encourage art collecting in the community. Proceeds benefit CBCA Leadership Arts, a training program for people interested in serving on nonprofit arts and cultural boards of directors. The Leadership Arts Alumni Network spearheaded this effort.
